Alii to Our Best Friends & the Rock Islands

Palau was the final stop of our round-the-world adventure, and somehow we saved one of the best for last. Our best friends and Palau natives, the Carlsons, welcomed us with handmade leis and spent six weeks showing us their little corner of paradise. We explored the Rock Islands, snorkeled with sharks, helped with coral reef restoration, searched for birds, ate incredible seafood, chased sunsets, and swam in the clearest water we've ever seen. Most of all, we got to share this beautiful place with people we love—and left with a whole new collection of memories.
